He may have failed in elections to the European Parliament as a member of the Democracy and Freedom Party, but developer Tomáš Hlaváč has still found a way to gain some, er, political capital. The managing director of CPDP recently agreed to lease part of his Prague 4 building Polygon House, occupied by tenants like Siemens, Michelin and Saint Gobain, to the ODS party.
For a few months, that is. Former PM Mirek Topolánek says ODS will run its parliamentary campaign this fall from 900 sqm in the building, at a cost of roughly €15,000 per month. There appears to be no interest by ODS to move into the building on a permanent basis.
