U.K. property market on the mend

Investment Property Database (IPD) is reporting that property values in the U.K. rose 1.1% in September, the biggest rise since June 2006. The gains were offset by continuing falls in rental values, an indication that the 44% drop over the past two years had somewhat overshot the mark. Investors have been returning to Europe’s largest property market to take advantage of cheap prices and the the weakened British currency.
