Just an update on last year’s biggest deal, announced as people were escaping for the holidays. It was reported in the Czech press that ECM’s City Tower scheme was sold for €130m, but the buyer’s name wasn’t released. E15 today is claiming that a company called Marpona bought the building, but there’s no information on who the company is. Except that it belongs to a private Slovak investor. E15 writes:
“…ECM Real Estate Investments needed cash at the end of the year and City Tower was one of the few assets that was possible to sell quickly.”
It also writes that J&T helped broker the deal.
