As many of his friends and colleagues in CEE property know, Robert Neale of Portland Trust and a group of friends are raising money for charity through a 243 km race down in New Zealand called Coast to Coast. The race has begun and we’re happy to report that he seems to have survived the first couple legs (running up a mountain, and biking) in one piece. The kayaking leg and some more biking remains.
The cause is certainly a worthy one: to raise funds for the Cystic Fibrosis Trust. CF is an incurable disease that effects children — including one of the group’s members. There’s an info sheet here, for those who are interested. Robert would no doubt appreciate any messages of moral support, along with any last-minute monetary pledges. (We won’t give out his email on-line, though…)
