CPI bonds

Looks like CPI is about to announce that it will be issuing bonds at a press conference that’s just started. Corporate along with project specific bonds should go on sale in the first half of 2012. CPI, in case you haven’t been keeping track, says it’s made €18bn in acquisitions this year. They’re not giving much away yet on the bonds, hinting only that they’ve probably got a front runner for the institution that will manage the issuance. The expected volume is between €250m – €300m, but not all at once. The first tranche could be north of €100m.
